Blue Wave Guitar Tuition is run by Richard Boxley, an accomplished guitar tutor with many years experience of music education. Based in the Stourbridge area, Blue Wave Guitar Tuition offers high-quality, private guitar tuition to all ages and abilities. The emphasis is on the individual with lessons tailored to suit the specific needs of each student. Styles taught include classical, rock, acoustic, blues and jazz, etc.

Richard has been involved in the guitar tuition industry since 1999. Previously he has taught guitar for a variety of organisations in the area, including Kidderminster College and Birmingham City Council.

Richard holds a Diploma in Music Education (Distinction) from Rockschool and a City and Guilds Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector certificate. In addition to this he has also completed The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Graded exams in Music Theory and Classical Guitar.
